About the Author

Some like it hot.

I'm a writer and I have a short story in The Big Book of Domination's sister The Big Book of Submission. Because of that, curiosity made me read this book to see how the other half played their power exchanges. Was it hotter on the flip side of the coin? I made up my mind about a third of the way into the book and I'll leave you to make up yours. But funny enough, recently I was asked by a Dom, "What's the biggest thing a Dom can do?" and I answered, "Play with her mind and make her never forget you." This book did that, No matter which side you play on, this book is hot, sexy, and will keep your toes curled.

Not All Cats are Grey at Night....

The cats and kittens in this book are not all grey at night-some are calicos, some tabbies, some have a bite out of an ear. This is not 50 shades of bland. My favorite sentence: " Caroline took a stiff towel that felt like it had been sprayed with starch and hung out to dry, and wiped me down like I was a 1978 Oldsmobile with a bad paint job" (from David Wraith's "Prison Bitch"). My second favorite sentence: "You're like a kinky Mrs. Dalloway" from "No Burn Night" by Valerie Alexander. The authors themselves surprise us and leave us guessing, just like a good dom should. The characters are varied, and feel real- in the ways they lie to one another, in their fears, in the ways they take control and the ways they submit. Imaginative and fun, and a good Valentine for somebody.

What a fun book; editor Dl King’s book is smart and truly seductive. I enjoyed the stories and the characters. I will definitely be on the look-out for more from this author.
