Loved it!

This was such a great story. Different and imaginative. Loved ALL the characters. I hope there are other books to follow. . Devon, Layden, and Abraxis were all that characters, and their love story was beautiful. I definitely recommend this one.

This is a fairy tale for adults.

Childhood stories Devon’s father told him, become suddenly reality when he is thrown into a parallel world inhabited by dragon shifters. The amenities are surprisingly modern in this ancient world, but there is enough magic and other fairy tale stuff to satisfy.
Devon has been summoned to decide who is to be the next king of Draconia. There is the obligatory villain who wants to take over this world, with the help of a traitorous woman and some time travelling. There is a romantic god who gives his blessing to an unusual union of three men. And there is LOVE. Lots of it.
But there are flaws in this story, too. Like missing words or wrong use (such as Imperial palace relates to an emperor, while this is a kingdom and should be Royal). And some inconsistencies to the time line – Asher’s siblings had been orphans since the Fae war that is supposed to have been quite a while ago (Cerilius “was too young to have been able to participate”), but they are still all under age of 10!? The picture of Asher taking care of his siblings is very cute, but the lack of consideration to the timeline is a bit annoying.
Still, I give it 4 stars for the idea and abundance of imagination.

I Liked it I've always loved Dragon stories and this one was great I hope there's more to come from this story.
