Un episodio en la historia que se sigue escribiendo

Es un eslabón más en la representación literaria de la homosexualidad. Uno que nos devuelve a la época en que esta orientación se vivía desde la tragedia y el ocultamiento. Su valor, por lo tanto, es principalmente histórico, un relato que nos recuerda lo que se ha avanzado en la defensa de los derechos LGBT y lo mucho que aún nos falta por hacer. Claramente es una narración melodramática, con grandes dosis de sufrimiento que hoy pueden parecer excesivos en el tránsito del protagonista por acallar o vivir lo que siente. Pero es un testimonio de cómo se veía la experiencia homosexual hasta no hace tanto tiempo.
