Tyrone is obsessed by leather. Therefore, Tyrone goes to a leather bar that he has not gone to before in attempt to gain experience as a bottom. Tyrone is on a journey of self-discovery trying to experiment sexually and find what he likes.

Spike is one of top that Tyrone meets at the local leather bar. Spike is into BDSM and shows Tyrone some. Spike seems to wait for Tyrone to mature a bit and understand the life and his feelings bit more before continuing to pursue him.

The connection between Spike and Tyrone is intense. I respected Spike a lot for backing off and letting Tyrone experiment a bit before trying to form a relationship. That takes a lot of inner strength. The sex scenes between Spike and Tyrone is scorching as well as the scenes between Tyrone and Master Leopold. This book also shows how much feeling factor into good sex.

I found this book well written with a unique plot. The main characters and the secondary characters were interesting. While the ending was a little predictable this book takes a reader on the journey filled with self-discovery. I had a hard time putting this book down. Overall, this was a very captivating book.

able to come with a very good solution to their problem of both of them wanting to read one book! The illustrations I thought were very well done as well.

Omg!!!!! This had everything, lust, suspense, erotica, and most importantly, the values of love within a relationship. I am highly impressed with the character development of the minor charaters introduced. Even the climax at the end was explosive (in more ways than one)

Kathleen Knowles grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but has lived in San Francisco for more than thirty years. She finds the city’s combination of history, natural beauty, and multicultural diversity inspiring and endlessly fascinating.

Other than writing, she loves music of all kinds, walking, bicycling, and stamp collecting. LGBT history and politics have commanded her attention for many years, starting with her first Pride march in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1978. She and her partner were married in July, 2008, and live atop one of San Francisco’s many hills with their three pets. She works as a health and safety specialist at the University of California, San Francisco.

Kathleen Knowles does it again!

Kathy Knowles has done it again with a delightful sequel to Awake Unto Me. the Continuation of the story of Beth and Kerry's love for each other as they live an unconventional lifestyle in an age where women are not even supposed to be aware of sex except as child-bearing duty to their husbands and that an unmentionable part of their lives is both compelling and realistic. The setting of old San Francisco in the early 1900s (this reviewer played, skated and swam at the Sutro baths as a child) is both memory-evoking and completely accurate. The problems they face trying to be both in an intimate relationship and still realize their individual dreams show a relationship both pulling apart and through hard work and the support of friends and their own love repair itself. The supporting characters, Dr. Addison Grant and his estranged, intolerant wife Laura continue their story as well.
It is difficult to write a review of this novel as this reviewer does not want nor can he duplicate the wonderful flavor of the intertwining plots without being a "spoiler" and robbing future readers the joy of Ms. Knowles writing. I strongly suggest buying this book and enjoying all of the flavors of hard-working work maintaining relationships and old San Francisco. Anyone who has ever tried to balance a family and career will see themselves in this book as well as its predecessor. If you have not, read Awake Unto Me first. You won't regret it.

A Spark of Heavenly Fire

This is the sequel to Awake Unto Me. I was happy to hear this story would continue as i was swept up the first time around and the second book did not disappoint. Once again everything else was put on hold until i finished reading. I was really drawn into this one and i just loved spending time in their world over the two books. Looking forward to reading both again.

A rich, thought provoking read!

A Spark of Heavenly Fire is a sequel to Awake Unto Me, and continues the story of Kerry and Beth. Set in San Francisco at the turn of the century, Knowles does an excellent job of showing the attitudes of the population toward women, and toward non Caucasions. This was a time when small pox was not uncommon, and bubonic plague was a very real fear. Knowles also shows the difficulty of having careers, worrying about money, and still making a relationship work. These are difficulties to which many of us can relate! Knowles does a fine job in developing the characters of Kerry and Beth, as well as Dr. Addison Grant, and a new comer, Dr. Esther Strauss. I really enjoyed this character, a strong woman doctor from the East, with some very unorthodox ideas! Another fun new character is 'artistic' Scott, Beth's lab partner. His delightful Southern charm and outlook add to this already rich novel. This is a story which I couldn't help but discuss with my friends! It is an excellent, thought provoking, read!

About the Author
Adolf Hitler (1889--1945) is without doubt one of the most famous political leaders in history. Born into a humble Austro-German home, he fought as a soldier in World War I and rose to become chancellor of Germany in 1933. 7 to 8 dollars would be perfect for this paperback edition. Anyhow very good product.

Tbh I think, this paperback edition is 3 dollars expensive than what it should be. Amazon should think of lowering its price to 7-7.5 dollars.
Anyway the quality is good, paper are white and bright.
